I tifosi genoani lo considerano come una delle migliori promesse del calcio italiano. Quelli juventini lo guardano con un po' di diffidenza, dopo un esordio al di sotto delle aspettative con la maglia bianconera. E' Domenico Criscito, una delle realtà più belle del nostro campionato.
Criscito rimane un altro anno al Genoa, con la formula del prestito
"Sì, sono contento e ringrazio la Juventus per l'opportunità di farmi giocare un altro anno. Genova per me resta una piazza importante, devo molto anche ai tifosi. Devo dimostrare il mio valore".
C'è rammarico di non tornare alla Juventus?
"Un po' sì, ma sono comunque contento"
Ottimo il rapporto con Gasperini: c'entra anche lui nella scelta di rimanere in rossoblù?
"Al mister devo molto, mi ha dato la possibilità di giocare nel calcio che conta. Ora ci sono le Olimpiadi, appena tornato parlerò con l'allenatore e mi metterò a disposizione".
Dopo l'Europeo negativo, ora tutti tifano l'Italia dei giovani. Come ti senti?
"Siamo pronti. L'Olimpiade è un'esperienza nuova, particolare e puntiamo ad arrivare più in alto possibile. E magari vincerle".
Con l'arrivo di Lippi si parla di un'Italia giovane. Ti piacerebbe giocare in Nazionale?
"Tutti vorrebbero giocare in azzurro, è il sogno di tutti. Ma ho ancora un anno con l'under21, ci sono Olimpiadi ed Europei, quindi c'è ancora tempo".
A Genova sono arrivati tanti giocatori che hanno giocato con te alla Juventus, come Palladino
"L'ho chiamato, è entusiasta di giocare al Ferraris perché conosce il calore dei tifosi".
La patnership con la Juventus può alimentare il sogno UEFA?
"Che molti giovani siano arrivati al Genoa dalla Juve fa certamente ben sperare, visto che i bianconeri hanno tanti giocatori in giro per l'Italia".
Domizzi e Dainelli
"Domizzi è un grande giocatore, ma non so se c'è questo accordo fra le due società. Sicuramente è un buon acquisto per il Genoa. Dainelli ha giocato nella Fiorentina, è arrivato a conquistare la Champions League quest'anno, ha anche giocato in nazionale. Non ha bisogno di presentazioni. Entrambi giocano nella mia posizione, bisogna lottare per la maglia.
UEFA come obiettivo per la prossima stagione?
Puntiamo a ripetere il buon campionato fatto: all'inizio tutti pensavano a una salvezza risicata, invece siamo stati sempre in una posizione di classifica relativamente tranquilla.
