The reconstruction of the Dell'Alpi Stadium!!

Juventus has confirmed yesterday (March 18) on its official website (http://www.juventus.com)  that it has approved the reconstruction of the existing Dell'Alpi Stadium....this is great!!  From the Year 2011/12 season, the club will be playing its home games at Dell'Alpi - a much bigger stadium with more facilities and that fans can sit much closer to the pitch (as planned by the club in their proposal).   Will there be Juventus hotel and Juventus megastore next to the new stadium too??

Stadium Project approved

Another
important step in the Stadium Project: indeed Juventus' Board of
Directors today approved the construction of a new Stadium that will be
built in place of the Dell’Alpi. The Club announced as much in a press
release after today's meeting.

The project is expected to cost
€ 105 million in all; the Board gave Managing Director Jean-Claude
Blanc the task of carrying out all the necessary steps, particularly in
administrative terms. The construction project will not cause any
capital increase. The new facility should be ready in time for the
2011/2012 season.

The Board of Directors also approved the Half-Yearly Report up to December 31 2007.

See the Six Months Report press release for details.
